When you are the guardian of a child, the guardianship will end when one of several things happen.
-When the child turns 18 years of age,
-When the child gets married,
-If the child is adopted,
-If the child enters the military,
-If the child is emancipated,
-If the court orders the end of the guardianship,
-If the court orders a new guardian,
-If the child passes away before the age of 18.
Also, guardianship can be ended if asked for by the parents of the child, the child himself if over the age of 12 or the guardian.
