It is important to help seniors locate elder support facilities. With elder abuse support agencies the senior can network and find a support group of those who have experienced similar instances of abuse. There are many organizations dedicated to assisting seniors with any care need they may have.

Additionally, the senior needs to know that they will be protected and if they report the abuse the matter will be investigated. For the matter to be investigated proof is not needed simple suspicion that abuse is occurring. If you are unsure where to report elder abuse you can always call APS, also known as adult protective services. APS will conduct a thorough investigation into the reported abuse allegation.
