Yanez & Montes, LLP also provides "unbundled legal services".   These services can be described as “piecemeal” for example, the attorneys can prepare individual documents on your behalf or individual motions such as a motion for child support or spousal support and make an appearance only for a particular hearing.  The Orange County Superior Court’s Facilitators office assists low income individuals by preparing the paperwork and we appear on a list that indicates that we will represent you at the hearing if hired.  The fees are fixed depending on the particular service being rendered to the client.

Legal Services may also be on a “limited scope representation” which means that you contract with the attorney to only represent you for a particular issue such as a Domestic Violence action.

In this instance, we will file all the paperwork needed to obtain a temporary restraining order, and will represent you at the hearing set to obtain the permanent restraining order, etc. You will sign a limited Scope Representation form that clearly indicates the termination of our representation.   A substitution of attorney form is immediately filed once the limited scope representation is concluded.
